Philosophy

Kimura Takushima & Yamaguchi was founded by Takahiro Kimura, Ippei Takushima, and Kota Yamaguchi on September 1, 2011.

Each of the partners has practiced law for over 10 years in Japan's major law firms, has a degree from a law school in the U.S., and has accumulated extensive experience in advising domestic and overseas businesses in the areas of corporate, commercial and financial transactions, labor and employment, as well as dispute resolution.

Our aim is to provide first-class legal services to a broad clientele with the diligence of a large firm while simultaneously offering more personalized services, in a cost-effective manner. As a newly established firm, we are highly motivated, hard-working, and accessible – we are prepared to meet our clients' urgent needs and have created a network with ourselves at the core to accomplish this objective. We enjoy being a part of our clients' teams, closely liaising with them in order to achieve their goals. We hope to develop long-lasting professional relationships that will contribute to the collective growth of our clients and our firm.
